OHMYGOODNESS.
I didn't really avoid this book, but I wasn't going to go out of my way to read it. And when I did finally get it from the library (This was stupid of me. I should have spent the money to own it), I let it sit on my shelf while I happily gobbled up other books. Until finally it came down to Divergent or book with font I wanted to kick across the room. Divergent
Every second is breathtaking and just gorgeous. The words, the romance, the mystery, the pain, the action, the adventure, the emotions. This is the book you'd want to dissolve in when you think that choices of books are off in your taste now a days. Divergent would make you change your mind about things.
It's like the more adventurous side of Matched and Hunger Games. So if you loved both those books you'd surely love Divergent.

I loved every word of it. I love Four. I love Tris. I love what she is, what faction she chose, everything.
I still can't believe how fast I read it. I finished it in about 19hrs, but I was out visiting for 5hrs, plus 7hrs of sleep, and then the usual eating, cleaning up, both of which I didn't do too much of since I started divergent.. so I read it in less than 6hrs. That's a new record.
Can't wait for Insurgent! ...more

I LOVED, LOVED, LOVED this Book from the very first word til the very last word. It kept my interest. It was worth the time to Read.
I suggest this Book to people that appreciated "Hunger Games" and those people that want a GREAT read.

Finished Veronica Roth's book "Divergent". It was a great book. If it hadn't started out so slow I would have given it 5 stars. A very quickly read book.
Once the story got rolling the book was interesting enough to make me want to read another of her books. Was never sure where we were going at times but didn't care because it had me on the edge of my seat most of the time.
