I was a bit sceptical about this book at first because it was about a sixteen year old. No matter how many times I walked past this book and picked it up, looking at the blurb, it still didn't persuade me to actually read it.
But I read it and fell in love with , instantly. Tris in ways is similar to Katniss, with her strive to save those around her, putting others before herself. But she is also different, her being different is something she accepts, well not at first but eventually she does. ...more

Divergent is an AMAZING book. I started reading Divergent after I had finished the Hunger Games Trilogy by Suzanne Collins and Legend by Marie Lu. Therefore, the bar for dystopian novels was set very high. I decided to start reading the divergent series not expecting it to be to great. Boy, I was wrong. I was addicted to the book and ended up finishing it in a weekend. I totally, confidently recommend this book to boys and girls and I am positive they will enjoy it.

i believe this book was relatable beautiful and in plain words just AWESOME. their are so many sharp twists and great romance suspense action honestly i cant put this book in one category.
