4.5 PROPHET/TOM STARS
Why 4.5? As much as I love this author and several of the men in this series, I sometimes get to where I forget who is who and what is going on. I think there might just be a few too many characters involved in each book. I could ALWAYS use more sex but I understand that not everyone has my feelings about that. But, when it comes to Prophet and Tom, PLEASE MORE SEX! Those two things are my only gripes.

With this third book in the Hell or High Water series, SE Jakes has again proven she is a master at plot manipulation, dialogue, action and tension. The James Thurber quote at the beginning of the book is very appropriate: “There are two kinds of light—the glow that illuminates, and the glare that obscures.� In this case the light that is cast on the characters is a bit of both.

This is my second read of Daylight Again and I honestly have no idea why I missed reviewing it the first time around. I’m fixing that now though, just in time for me to start reading the final book in S.E. Jakes� Hell or High Water series, If I Ever. Regardless of why I committed to this re-read, I’m really glad I did. Mainly because there is SO much that I forgot.
