Wowza, wowza, wowza. I thought Catch a Ghost was incredible, then along came Long Time Gone, the second in the Hell or High Water series. I can not do a review that will do this justice.
Tommy and Prophet have been separated for 4 months. Neither has been able to forget the other, but Tommy tries with new partner Cope working for EE. Proph tries with black ops jobs that have danger quotients off the charts. They are brought back together by a hurricane that threatens Tommy's Aunt Della in New Or ...more

Long Time Gone is the second book in the Hell or High Water Series and I have to say HOLY EFF S.E. has done it again and Lordy Lordy Prophet is the man. He is so moody and unpredictable that he had me all over the emotions map because one minute he was okay and the next he wasn't because he would shut his feelings off and become hard and distant.

Fantastic sequel. I am looking forward to the next in this series, as well as Cillian and Mal's story.

This was another awesome installment in this series. I like that they act like idiots, but not COMPLETE idiots.
It's like they're both so raw they can't help but feel everything, and show everything, even when they're keeping secrets.
Loved it. Can't wait for the next one. ...more
