This is a book about vampires that is most unlike any other book about vampires.
Oh there's blood and gore and death, but there's also middle class British mundanity, teenage angst and complex family relationships. In some ways, The Radleys reminded me a little of the Pixar movie The Incredibles, but rather than superheroes they are vampires!
