I read this book in anticipation of the movie coming out in a few weeks. I was surprised at how quickly I read this book. I usually have trouble reading books written in the 20s or around that time. The writing was easy to read. I didn't like how mysterious Gatsby was. He really got on my nerves to be honest with you. It was sad at the end to see how few friends he actually had though. I am looking forward to watching the movie now. Definitely recommend reading this classic.

The great gatsby for me was More than the three different relationships It narrated; it was about have that green light, which is so close yet so far away, which we reach out to, which we need to have faith in.
I hated this book…don’t get me wrong I understand why so many people love it and gush about it but nope I hated it. I hated the soulless characters and their empty existences.
