I really liked getting to know Thalia more in this book. It was another interesting plot line. The end left me wanting to read the next book immediately (unfortunately I have a long list of books that I have to get to first). It seems that this series is just getting better. I loved the addition of some new gods in this book, as well as seeing Dionysos in a new light (even if it was just for a moment). It is a fun series to get lost in and I would recommend it to people of any age.

The Titan’s Curse is the third book in the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series and the books are just getting more and more exciting as we go.
Percy, Annabeth and Thalia are running to Grover’s aid as he has discovered two new powerful half-bloods in a private school. The problem is the Head Master Dr. Thorn seems to be keeping a very close eye on them as well.
The rescue attempt of the half-bloods goes horribly wrong and Annabeth is lost to the enemy. Now Percy is determined to get her back. ...more

Just one tiny example, it was something like '...roar so loud it parted my hair...' ...more

Rick Riordan does such a nice job of merging the modern and the mythological into one great fantasy story. This is the third of five in the Percy Jackson series. I plan to read the next two very soon - long before the movie comes out.
