I had picked this book up over a year ago, got about half way threw it and put it down and seemed to have forgotten about it. Then I attempted it again last year made it to about the same spot when once again I put it down, and I just recently forced myself to pick it up again and finish it.
I'm not really sure what continued to make me forget about the book, as the story really was quite interesting. So far I have really enjoyed the series. So I'm glad that I did finally finish it.

The third book in the Dresden series. There is a sudden increase in ghosts activity in Chicago which is being fought by Dresden and his kinght pal Michael. Harry links the ghosts to a disturbance in the nevernever and eventually vampires also become involved. A good entry in the series.
This is really just fluff, but it's entertaining nonetheless. This third book in the Dresden Files is much better than the second book, but reading the books in sequence is pretty important for this series as there are a lot of cross and backwards references. There's also a fair amount of world-building in these books and each subsequent book presumes that the reader is already familiar with the rules of engagement that were introduced in previous books.
