I fell in love with Veronica and Patrick as I got to know them, in spite of my first impressions!

An enjoyable read !
The story may be somewhat incredulous but books are to be enjoyed and I enjoyed every minute of this one. My heart has been touched by a crotchety old woman and penguins!
honestly i found Veronica more annoying than charming...just didn't feel as magical as other books with older characters (i.e. A man called Ove; Curious Charms of Arthur Pepper)
