I received an ARC of this book via netgalley. I generally like this magical realism genre but this one really did nothing for me.
Less than 200 pages long much of it is the repetition of the rules for time travelling and the means for doing so. I wanted more from the actual movement across time in the narrative

All a bit convoluted & confusing. I probably should have read the first book before this, & I would have but this is what the library gave me when I reserved #1, they seem to have mixed up their catalogue. Maybe I would have been more interested in the characters if I'd known them for longer but they all left me cold except for Kurata who travelled to the future to ensure Asami's happiness.
