Bill Brockton is getting ready to testify against Garland Hamilton when Hamilton escapes prison. Bill is now worried about encountering Hamilton as well as Hamilton taking revenge on any of his close colleagues especially Miranda. In the meantime, he has discovered a crematorium that didn't do its job and trying to do his regular job as a forensic anthropologist. The story was good but seemed to have a lot of filler stuff that was not germane to the story. The book probably could have benefited
