This has a great cover and an interesting premise, but for some reason I expected to be disappointed. I wasn't! I quite enjoyed this. It reminded me a lot of The Abyss or Sphere, only with a teenage protagonist. There were a few places, especially toward the end, where I had trouble picturing the setting or following some of the action, but overall this was a very enjoyable read. This book was a give-away, and I'd had it for so long that I've forgotten where I got it. For some reason I kept putting it off, and didn't really expect it to be very good. I was wrong! I really enjoyed reading it.
