Hi Dorcas, feel free to comments while we're reading if you have a moment! Thanks Jaima--I like Trade Winds because I'm looking to add Zanzibar to my Around-the-World reading tour, but I'm excited about both :)

LOL, Diane Lynn--I think I've read over a dozen books on India this year, and then there are all those Bollywood films I've been watching, and all those cups of chai :)

Sounds like you might have over done it a bit!
;D

Hah. No worries. Prepare for terrifyingly tiny font ladies. I wish these would get kindle-ized.

Wow! I used to be a habitual re-reader (not so much nowadays) but I think even on my very favorite books I top out at about 7 or 8 re-reads.

Tadiana, how can I find you on PBS? I'd be happy to buddy you credits for emergency situations. I have more than I can use. :-)

I'm not sure how to find someone you know on PBS. I reviewed a few books there 2 or 3 years ago but now I've switched all of my attention to GR. If you look up, say, Nine Coaches Waiting on PBS, you'll find a review from me there under the name Tadiana or Tadiana J.
I do still have 3 credits there so I'm good to go for now, but maybe later! Thanks!

At the moment, I have 105. :-p

Thanks for voting everyone! It's looking like Trade Winds. Should be really fascinating, with a fair bit of serious historical ground to cover, as well a a good romance to enjoy. I'll keep you all posted and start setting up the folders in September.

Where to visit in October?

Or you can choose from Berlin, Cyprus, Andamans, Kenya, Kashmir via M.M. Kaye's murder mysteries...
Ooops! I missed your comments Tadiana and Fareeha. Moontakers Bride sounds really interesting. I never really got into Kaye's mysteries, but those are good ideas, Fareeha.
Or perhaps we should consider Mauritius. My copy of Georges by Alexandre Dumas just arrived from the library and it looks incredibly good. After The Count of Monte Cristo I'm not surprised, but I had trouble restraining myself from dropping everything...:)

I've never read any of MM Kaye's murder mysteries, but they do sound kind of fun. Reminds me of what I thought was one of Agatha Christie's better mysteries, They Came to Baghdad (though it's been many years since I read that one, so don't hold me to it).

I'm reading Death in Berlin right now with Jeannette and I wish I hadn't just read that spoiler. :(
Yay! It's getting cold here in Boston so I've got my bags packed and my tickets to Zanzibar all ready :))

Yep. It will be interesting to have other reader views on that controversial scene.
BTW, I think some of the lower rated reviews spoil the beans, so it might be wise to avoid them.
