Am honestly at a loss for words. I loved this book so much, it's definitely one of my favorites from now on. Y'all that ending was so heart breaking and yet I find myself being happy and loving that pain cause the book was THAT good. In no way it's a perfect book, it's flawed and the writing may not work for everyone, the pacing is slow but the characters and story are simply captivating.
In this character driven story, you'll find yourself rooting for them, understanding their pain and trauma, focusing on relationships, family dynamics and their growth as individuals.
✔️ Sports romance (rugby) ✔️ High School romance ✔️ Slow burn ✔️ Dual pov ✔️ Set in Ireland during the timeframe of 2005 ✔️ Found family ✔️ "Who did this to you"
It's only after I bought the whole series that I found out it's a high school romance, it did make me skeptical yet it worked out brilliantly. I especially loved how the actual sport played an important part in the story. I absolutely LOVE watching rugby, so having the inclusion of that made it even a better experience for me.
Coming to the characters, Shannon and Johnny have my heart. These two are so adorable and so smitten by each other. I loved seeing them progress as strangers, to friends and eventually finally accepting their feelings for each other. The romance is so sweet and had me giggling.

Loved each and every moment of this 800+ page book. It's more than that. My experience with it is that I was fully able to immerse myself in this world. Bryce, Hunt, Danika and Ruhn (along with other characters) hold a special place in my heart.
I personally think the Crescent City series is being heavily slept on. I see people always talk about ACOTAR and ToG but CC is equally (if not more) valid. Can just tell how much love and thinking was poured into it by SJM.
Ngl I cried and laughed so much, it was so worth it.

Can I rate this book in huntress stars? (Bad joke, I apologise)
This DAM book.
Can we agree that the Titan's Curse is the superior one in the series? It's full of twists and action, the characters are so well written, emphasis on Zoe Nightshade. The conflict between Percy and Thalia is presented well. Honestly I didn't find Thalia to be much likable the first time I read these books but one eventually warms up to her.
Let me point out the iconic PERCABETH moments this one had, not going to lie it made me tear up a little. The grey streak share. The dance. The panic Percy felt throughout. Percy's interaction with Aphrodite and later with Athena...more
This one is easily my favourite book in the series. I will never get bored or tired of reading it. The characters, the plot and SJM's writing makes it so perfect y'all.
A lot happens in this one, starting with the trauma that happened to Feyre, Tamlin and Rhysand. The three cope with it very differently.
Tamlin obviously is a VERY controversial character. Look, I get the hate he gets but being part of this fandom I highly disagree with the way they treat him. People act like they never loved him. Let's be honest with ourselves, we all loved him. I do not agree with his actions but he also went through a lot for 49 years and almost lost his woman. His trauma is also trauma. What he did to Feyre is something I can excuse cause he did not do it intentionally. But what he did to Rhysand and obviously what he did at the end is what makes me dislike him, notice how I don't say hate. I do want a redemption arc for him, maybe am in the minority here. I swear even Chaol doesn't get this much hate. Smh
Feyre and Rhysand complete each other. Those two have my whole heart. The way these two found their way to each other and started to heal together was beautiful to see. I love how easy it comes to the two to love each other, especially Rhysand. I swear I have no words to express how deeply this man has impacted me. He is mate material ...more

•~•~ "Twilight, again. Another ending. No matter how perfect the day is, it always has to end." •~•~ Every year this series invites me in and I can practically hear it saying to me-
Insert Edward's voice - "I'm the world's best predator, aren't I? As if you could outrun me. As if you could fight me off."
And well I don't fight it off.
Jokes aside, this book is imperfect. But it still continues to be a masterpiece, in the sense I never get bored or tired of it. Each time I read this series, it's like falling in love with Forks and the characters all over again. It's good to be nostalgic once in a while, isn't it? It's such a comfort read....more

Crying because I love this series so much. My only wish would be to read it as if it was my first time.
See, whenever I reread it. I know exactly what to expect, from the story, from Tamlin, Feyre, and Rhysand. But instead of hating on how things unfolded and hating on a certain someone, I like that I fall into it so easily. I fall for Tamlin as if it's so easy, there's pain yes but there's beauty in it. And I wouldn't want to change that bit about my reading experience at all.
I love Feyre's humanity. I love how innocent and naive and at times truly happy she was. I love Tamlin and how sexy he was, how always ready to provide for Feyre, and I loved how deeply flawed he was. But most of all, I love Rhysand- him as a whole.
