There was way to much in the book to follow everything just kinda turned into a mess of information to the point I felt like to even follow the plot I needed to pull out a notepad and keep notes.
Personally I want to relax and enjoy a book while I read it not have to stop and write down information to keep track of what is what and what is going on.
I find it hard to believe that the demographic that this book was written for would be able to follow this book without getting heavily confused.

I would not of picked this book up to read if I had known that the book covered the topics of SA and rape as a survivor myself I do not like reading about that kind of thing.
This book is about a woman during ww2 who’s father dies and mother goes missing and her attempt to try and track down her mother and find out what happened to her.
Like I said it was good until it wasn’t, this book needs warnings as there are subjects in it not everyone may be ok with.

It wasn’t that the writing was bad, it was good I just had a hard time connecting to it and the characters which made it incredibly hard to focus on the story.
Definitely not for me and honestly I don’t feel like I could recommend this book

Ok where to start, I had a really hard time getting through this book, I had to keep putting it down and picking it up again and I found myself reallyOk where to start, I had a really hard time getting through this book, I had to keep putting it down and picking it up again and I found myself really not wanting to pick it up again.
It’s not that it’s a bad book, it’s a good book and well written I just am not a huge fan of the way it’s written .
That being said I love the representation in this book, I wish there had been more books about the lgbt community when I was growing up, books I could of turned to when I was first discovering myself and having lots of questions like the MC in this book.
I feel like this book is so so important for the queer community and I believe it will be loved among a large majority of those who read it even though it wasn’t personally a book I enjoyed.
If you get the chance to read this book I do still recommend picking it up and giving it a try.

I can’t begin to explain how much I love this book and honestly it may be my new favorite book of all time.

I am genuinely sad this book is over and wish there was more to read, guess it means I’ll just have to read more of the authors books.
Seriously though if you’re in to cosplay, larping, fantasy books and adventure pick this book up and hopefully you’ll love it as much as I did .

I started out really enjoying this book but the ramblings of the MC through inner monologue quickly became unbearable for me.
I think this book is vital for the younger generation especially those around Ollies age who are also going through self discovery and I really wish there had been books like this when I was younger.

I am going to be honest I had a super hard time reading this book as I have someone close to me with the same name as the FMC which made reading this book very uncomfortable for me especially during the more spicy scenes.
The writing is ok, it’s not great but it’s not terrible either, I do enjoy the plot but I just felt like there was something missing and like it was dragging on.
I do think there are a lot of people that would enjoy this book it just wasn’t for me.

I personally did not like this book, it is impossible for me to understand or get into a book that is in verse the writing style is just not for me personally.
However I know that kids absolutely looooove in verse books and I think that this will be really popular with them so I do recommend picking up a copy especially for kids that enjoy in verse books.

I wanted to love this book so bad, I love lgbt representation and this book is full of it.
Don’t get me wrong this Author is a good writer I just have I wanted to love this book so bad, I love lgbt representation and this book is full of it.
Don’t get me wrong this Author is a good writer I just have some personal issues with this book that main one being the descriptive sexual scenes between minors .
This book is marketed towards younger teens which makes me feel like this book isn’t really appropriate, I also wish that if the author was determined to be so descriptive with the sexual scenes that they would of made the characters 18 or older.
Once again don’t get me wrong I love a good spicy scene just not between minors . Please please please add some trigger warnings to your book for stuff like underage sexual stuff .

I tried to read this book anyways because I requested it not knowing that there was going to be SA in it and the talk about SA quickly became to much for me resulting in me having to DNF this book.
That being said the writing was well written and I can tell that people who aren’t sensitive to the topic or SA will more than likely really enjoy this book.

Usually I’m really good at predicting who the killer is early on but this book had me guessing through the whole thing and I never truly guessed who the killer was until it was revealed.
I can’t begin to explain how much I adore this book, and how much I recommend picking up a copy of this book and reading it. The moment I finished reading this book I bought a copy for my girlfriend and have already recommended it to several people.

This book basically had me salvating.
I adored the characters and the depth to them, they where well written and easy to connect to which honestly I am super happy to see, this book was impossible for me to put down.
The only thing I sort of didn’t like was the back and forth between the present and the past, I understand why it was necessary for the character building it’s just not a style I am a fan of.
All and all I adored this book and highly recommend it.

There didn’t seem to be much of a plot at all or maybe I just missed it, the writing was bad to the point it was painful and the characters had little to no personality and where quite dislikable from the beginning.
I really tried to give this book a chance but I cannot in good conscience recommend this book to anyone.
