Any time I see a YA novel that's like "Such and So, #1" I immediately want to throw it across the room "with great force" like Dorothy Parker. But I didn't realise this was part of a planned series until it had already gotten its dry scratchy little claws into me. It's of course yet another girl hero YA dystopia but there are some unusual twists that set it apart from the usual bubbling vat of flavorless goo. Worth a try! We'll see how the next one goes....more
