It echoed some of what I see in my 92 year old mother and let me into her brain a bit. I particularly liked the movement back and forth in time. (7, to be precise). It’s a wide open look at poverty, corruption and politics in a Mumbai slum. Some parts are difficult to read, and the reality of economic inequality is powerful.
