Somehow I don’t think I’ve seen the whole movie, I think I saw part of it and I’ve seen lots of trailers and commercials for all of the movies. To the point that I remember what the characters look and sound like. And I sort of understand the plot. But this dramatized telling of the story was kind of hard for me to follow. A lot of the dialogue was whispered and was hard to understand. I think this particular version would be best for someone who really knows the story already. ...more

I’m so glad I found this book. I think this is perfect book for any young person that’s interested in sports. And old people too. This is my first book inspired by Kobe Bryant that I’ve read and I’m really impressed. I knew that Kobe was on GR but I didn’t know that he was creating books. Ive Claire did a great job writing this story and it was a wonderful treat getting to hear Phylicia Rashad read this.

I guess this story proves that the pandemic could have been worse. The idea that everyone in the world goes blind is kind of scary. They are all healthy but unable to fend for themselves and this causes a world wide panic that was worse than Covid. I definitely liked these pandemic stories more before I had something to compare them to.
I thought the writing was interesting, it seemed obvious that the author wasn’t American. It wasn’t easy to pin down where the story was taking place but it was definitely not North America. I think it’s interesting to how world views change depending on where authors are from. ...more
