I've been anticipating this book ever since I finished Jax, the first book in this series. This book was just as good if not better than the first book. Slate is a very sexy, sweet, emotional love story that's about second chances & forgiveness. Slate & Rayna's story started when they were just little kids & we get to see the beginning of their story & the cause of their heartbreak in flashbacks. I was so disappointed when this book ended because I just wanted more! I'll just be over here eagerly anticipating the next book now!
