With a good premise, this book started off slowly before picking up the pace a bit. The story, however, seemed a bit choppy and disconnected from developing true feelings. Perhaps I felt this way because I couldn't understand the motives behind Sunny's actions. Even Brad confused me at times. It just didn't seem like there were natural reactions. The community Sunny moves to is fun and filled with very good characters. Mickey is a wonderful character and I liked him a lot. He was kind and loving and forgiving. Overall, a nice light read, but not my cup of tea.
