I guess I would recommend this to a man with a short attention span. It seemed like the author had some good banter between two old west lawmen, with some good one-liners, and decided to make a novel out if it. The relationship and interaction between the two main characters was really good, but there was no back story, no explanation of why they were the way they were and why they made the choices they made. Weird ending and apparently an sequel I won't be reading. I listened to the audio version and had to check to make sure I didn't accidentally get the abridged version - I didn't.
