An incredible psychological thriller!
A family in distress needed to find somewhere to live and that was Stillhouse Lake in Tennessee. Unfortunately, all is not as it seems and threats arise in what is considered a close knit community. Who can you trust with some of the most important parts of yourself, and what sacrifices are needed for that trust?
I was mesmerized by this book from the moment I opened it, and that stayed until the end, even when I thought I knew where the moment was going. I also found myself with tears in my eyes a few times, a first when I'm reading a thriller.
The first of a series, with the next arriving in December. I'm counting the days.
