This book wasn’t what I expected it to be. It had a gripping storyline that related to the kidnapping of two young girls in Russia. It was more like reading several short stories tied together by the kidnapping. Overall it was an interesting book but I wasn’t really Blown away by it. It left me wanting more.

Carmel Hanes I actually became irritated at the revolving short stories that moved away from the kidnapping. Had I known it was formatted that way, I might have been able to go with the flow more easily, but as it was, I had to force myself to keep reading. I didn't love it as much as some did, although there were elements I did like.

Rachel I felt like the ending left me hanging. I needed to know what happened. 😊

Janet Steiniger Agreed, Rachel. The girls were alive? Did Marina jump into the fire before they were found?
