A Good Girl's Guide to Murder (A Good Girl's Guide to Murder, #1)

This is EXACTLY what you want in a YA murder mystery. For her senior project, Pippa decides to re-investigate her town's most notorious murder. 5 years ago Andie went missing, and her boyfriend at the time, Sal, was the lead suspect. Before he could be convicted, he sent a text message to confess and killed himself.
So they say.
Pippa believes otherwise, and as she delves back into Andie's life and the case files, she uncovers the secret life of Andie and all the people who may or may not have lead to her disappearance.
You can tell the author listens to a lot of podcasts, because this unfolded exactly like a murder podcast with clues and new suspects slowly unveiling themselves with a host of believable red herrings. I had some ideas about what happened, most of which were wrong. The real truth blew my mind and most importantly, felt believable.
A little bit I Know What You Did Last Summer, some Sadie and a dash of Pretty Little Liars. A great summer camping read.
