I Capture the Castle

This will on my list of favorite books for sure. It is a sentimental coming of age story set in 1930 England, the main character telling the story through her journals in hopes that she will become a writer. She is impulsive, somewhat dramatic, and very witty. It might have been too sugary sweet but the interesting characters and little plot twists and the wit saved it. I just really grew to love some of the characters. I cried when I finished reading it. I would give it 4 1/2 stars if I could. (I really wish that goodreads would add half star ratings).

I really liked this. It really fits a description of one of my type (and I love lots of different stuff) of books. If you don't like it, I won't take it personally. :)
