it was amazing

Easy to read history of tuberculosis—where we’ve been and where we stand today with this infectious disease. The backdrop of Green’s deep dive into TB is the very personal story of Henry, a child of Sierra Leone, a well-liked patient facing an uphill battle simply because of where he was born. And that’s the emphasis of Green’s book - TB is curable and yet 1.25 million die annually from the disease due to healthcare and societal inequities. This would make for a great book club discussion.
