Susan (susayq ~) (susayq) | 450 comments Just finished A Legacy of Secrets (Sicily's Corretti Dynasty, #1) by Carol Marinelli . It fits for #5 - C, M A (or L, depending in which word you count as the first word of the title), # 6 - fav holiday destination cause it's set in Sicily :)

message 853: by Susan (susayq ~) (new)

Susan (susayq ~) (susayq) | 450 comments It was good, Lisa Kay. His speech kind of distracted me, but in all honesty, it was probably correct since Santo was Italian and speaking English, so he probably would phrase things differently from me ;)

Lisa Kay (lisakayalicemaria) | 15159 comments Yes, I would think so.

Robin (Saturndoo) (robinsaturndoo) | 1337 comments Hi Friends!!!

I am hanging in there; resting and taking my medicines LOL

I am trying to get some reading done and making a little head way.

In the next post is what I am working on for the 7% challenge :) Got one completed!!! I will continue to update that thread as I complete books.

✿C✿ (clairelm) | 1222 comments Great ShoSho and Robin :) I'll update the 7% challenge thread and see what we have tonight :)

message 858: by ShoSho (last edited Jun 05, 2013 04:32PM) (new)

ShoSho (shoshost) | 446 comments I did #40 . I leave #41 for one of you , it's not my speciality :D

I finished Moonlight Road (Virgin River, #11) by Robyn Carr for Blue cover
and Heart of Obsidian (Psy-Changeling, #12) by Nalini Singh for behind enemy lines ! Vi from moonstone finished it before me .

How are we going to this? It's going to be really hard to organize what everyone is reading into categories

message 859: by Vi (new)

Vi | 1703 comments ShoSho: :( :( You were supposed to finish it yesterday!!

message 860: by ShoSho (new)

ShoSho (shoshost) | 446 comments 2 reasons, i was savouring it and then RL got in the way!

message 861: by ✿C (new)

✿C✿ (clairelm) | 1222 comments Thanks ShoSho! I ended up late in the lab but tonight I'll go through what we've read and where it'll fit and see what we've got so far. I've set up a thread in the sister group to do that, just haven't had time to update it!

message 862: by ✿C (new)

✿C✿ (clairelm) | 1222 comments If 41's the word search, I'll do it tonight, I love those sort of puzzles :)

message 863: by Susan (susayq ~) (new)

Susan (susayq ~) (susayq) | 450 comments Finished Heart of Obsidian (Psy-Changeling, #12) by Nalini Singh which as ShoSho pointed out, fits the Behind Enemy Lines cause Vi from moonstone read it :)

message 864: by ✿C (new)

✿C✿ (clairelm) | 1222 comments Great! I've read a Behind Enemy Lines one too, we might be halfway through the category soon :) I'll check tonight

message 865: by Vi (new)

Vi | 1703 comments Not fair! :)

✿C✿ (clairelm) | 1222 comments @ Oo, a reading Faceoff? Have I missed something? Or are you talking about the 7% challenge?

Don't forget, we're the original reading ninjas ;)

Sorry Vi , I'll finish sooner next time ;)

message 868: by ✿C (new)

✿C✿ (clairelm) | 1222 comments Finished Dark Dates (Cassandra Bick Chronicles, #1) by Tracey Sinclair it was ok, didn't enjoy it much until the last 10% or so (it was on my kindle!) but it fits for the 7% challenge.

Talking about the 7% challenge, I've updated the posts in the thread in the sister group, decided the spreadsheet was too confusing! I've not put anything in a definite category yet, thought I'd get to the end of the first week and see how things look then.

message 869: by ShoSho (new)

ShoSho (shoshost) | 446 comments Wow thanks Claire , I just saw it , a great way to do it.

I didn't comment there so it wouldn't be confusing .

Oh, feel free :) Comment where ever you like :) Now I have a post for each of us, add any comments/books/anything else you fancy to it :)

message 871: by ShoSho (new)

ShoSho (shoshost) | 446 comments aha oki , got it!

what are the colors of the team behind and in front of us? Are they both blue?

message 872: by Susan (susayq ~) (new)

Susan (susayq ~) (susayq) | 450 comments Yes, both are blue, ShoSho.

message 873: by Susan (susayq ~) (new)

Susan (susayq ~) (susayq) | 450 comments The sister site looks good with the way you did it :) except, I'm the one who read Heart of Obsidian, not Cathie ;)

message 874: by ✿C (last edited Jun 06, 2013 02:58PM) (new)

✿C✿ (clairelm) | 1222 comments Oops, sorry Susan! :( I'll change that now! I think my eyes were going fuzzy by that point!

Cathie (catitude) | 999 comments Well it is true that Oo is ahead already with 1 (yes, just 1!) completed book, I am on the mend and getting ready to kick her reading butt. bwahahaha.

I have been really sick for the last week or so; migraine and sinus and not able to stand light, sound, etc., so my reading has been extremely curtailed.

I am on the mend now and will jumpstart my participation in all challenges, bwahahaha.

I only finished one book this week, for the challenge, when my eyes could focus (and this doesn't count towards Oos challenge).

The Knock at the Door: A Mother's Survival of the Armenian Genocide The Knock at the Door A Mother's Survival of the Armenian Genocide by Margaret Ahnert . I would recommend it to anyone. 5 stars.

Will figure out later, with Captain's help, where it fits in.

**chuckles**

message 879: by Cathie (new)

Cathie (catitude) | 999 comments And it's working; I have sent her (Oo) off on a wild goose chase, looking for words and phrases...which means she isn't reading....

message 880: by Cathie (new)

Cathie (catitude) | 999 comments Oo, oooohhhhh, I love Golem...my precious!

message 881: by Cathie (new)

Cathie (catitude) | 999 comments toppling refers to stacks of books, not books all in a row...you have to have something to topple (hands on hips, sticks tongue out right back at ya, and wiggles butt as she walks away with books in hands)

message 882: by Cathie (new)

Cathie (catitude) | 999 comments Laugh away I just finished Vox Vox by Nicholson Baker .

(I believe we are now tied :-)

message 883: by ✿C (last edited Jun 07, 2013 12:45PM) (new)

✿C✿ (clairelm) | 1222 comments This is brilliant, you guys have just cheered me up again! Had a good day til I ended up in the lab til half 8 this evening, got in and read this and I'm smiling again :)

I'll possibly get quite a bit of reading done tomorrow, going to first aid at a 'bed race' and it's a bit of a drive and I'm not driving :)

message 884: by Cathie (new)

Cathie (catitude) | 999 comments Smile Claire! You have to laugh; it's a definite daily :-).

I'm glad your loooong day is over and you can relax now :-)

I tried to find an image of a cool chick on a bike with a great black leather jacket riding over a tangerine (because surely doesn't the internet have a photo for everything??!!).
I came up with this, I figure it is close enough if you can use your imagination for what I intended.. bwaahahaha

message 887: by ✿C (new)

✿C✿ (clairelm) | 1222 comments Nice bike Karen :)

Cathie, I know, laughing's definitely a must. Hope I'll do a fair bit today, the description my Dad gave of the bed race was 'madness'!!!

message 888: by ✿C (new)

✿C✿ (clairelm) | 1222 comments Oh, and I'll update the spreadsheet and sister group thread later when I get in.

I finished The Horse and His Boy (Chronicles of Narnia, #3) by C.S. Lewis last night which fits somewhere and Doctor Who Summer Falls by Amelia Williams which I think is much too short to count.

message 889: by Cathie (new)

Cathie (catitude) | 999 comments Grrr....let me READ!!!!

message 890: by Cathie (new)

Cathie (catitude) | 999 comments Atomic Tangerine-ette is concentrating on books...fiercely concentrating on whooping some black leather a**

message 891: by Susan (susayq ~) (new)

Susan (susayq ~) (susayq) | 450 comments I finished The Wedding Duel (Dueling Pistols, #1) by Katy Madison this morni g which is perfect for the May mini r-a-t category cause it's green and has flowers :)

message 892: by Cathie (new)

Cathie (catitude) | 999 comments I finished Three Graves Full by Jamie Mason .

Again, will need to figure out where it goes later.

I'm off to reading a new book :-)

message 893: by Cathie (new)

Cathie (catitude) | 999 comments I finished On the Island by Tracey Garvis-Graves . Good book ~ 4 stars.

It's now 3 am (I couldn't not finish the book, lol) so I'm going to get some sleep. zzzzzzzz

ShoSho (shoshost) | 446 comments Good night Cathie

That one was on my old plans to read. It fits #1

Dagna from Bedazzled Blue has read it.

message 897: by ✿C (new)

✿C✿ (clairelm) | 1222 comments Feel free to read which ever you want Robin. I'm sorry if I've messed up your reading plan :( We could always do Behind Enemy Lines twice, if we get enough books?

It's not your fault. I was just confused about what I was supposed to doing :) I just planned out books for specific tasks that I knew I could get read. LOL I am just wondering around in a daze these days. Just over look me LOL I am blaming it on the medicine :)
