Ah, thanks, I never knew you could get letters to go on them, I always assumed they were like our university hoodies and minimally customisable. You learn something new every day :)

And I will, I don't think I'll ever understand why people get so worked up over a game though!

Good Afternoon ladies!!! I finished up and now I'm going to finish up all these other ones that I started but didn't finish.

I have had a bad case of start-itis this week and left finish-itis behind some where in my travels. Other than that it's been a pretty lazy day around here. Hopefully I will finish at least two more books today.

Congrats to your daughter Susan!!!! Some of those banquets/school functions can get looooonnggggg. I remember going to some for my kids LOL

Be careful Claire!!! I know what you mean....it's a GAME. It's meant to be played for fun not to bring out violent activities/actions in people.

Well done ♥Robin �, we're off to a great start and only half the team here so far!!

I got a taxi in, didn't want to risk public transport and a friend's offered to pick me up if he finishes work on time. My Mum was saying that she knew things were like this (riots and hooliganism) in the 70's/80's but didn't realise it still happened as often - guess there's something special about the North East!! Not that it's a particularly good weekend for any English football by the sounds of things!!

You may have guessed I'm not such a fan of sports - much more of a 'relaxing' activity person - reading, writing, crafts, music :)

Congratulations to your daughter as well Susan, I didn't realise what a band banquet was (we didn't really have one at my school!) What does she play?

I've sent FRs/PMs to the three of them, Phyllis has accepted my friend invite, nothing from the others yet but it is the weekend and they may be away from the internet.

How to "Refresh" a Member's Total or Add a Comment to Their "view books" Screen:

We are using ♥Robin� on Atomic Tangerine for this example:



� Scroll down to your friends, who are listed first, or down futher to "community."
� Click on either the percent numbers or the words "view books" (red arrow)
� You can enter a comment on this screen (blue arrow), if you desire, or wait for the next one.



� On this screen you can see her total books jumped from 2 to 4.

� If you click on her name (blue arrow), it will hyperlink to her Profile page.

� Pink arrow shows comments by other members.



� If you hit the back arrow to go back to the community page, you'll see she is back to 2 books; just refresh the page.

� The Total goal for all participants may take anywhere from 15 - 30 minutes.

� The cache usually updates every night sometime after 9 p.m. PST.

Wow! Well done to Harley :) I play the clarinet and I've done some practice marching with an army band but I couldn't imagine being able to do both at the same time! Takes some skill, good for her :)

Morning! I read a book last night but I'm not sure if it'll count - have to go check page numbers!! I'm on my first cup of tea of the morning and off to work shortly, I'll go through the books and update the spreadsheet and mini challenge etc either later at work (much more interesting than analysing data!) or when I get in tonight.

As for this mini challenge, with the cover challenge shall we see how many with that colour on the cover in a set amount of time (still deciding on that!) or the first one to do it?

And if you have any ideas for mini challenges, leave a post in the 'Chat with the Captain' thread and I'll design the next one :)

Good morning, my Amazingly Terrific Atomic Tangerines :D I've had my morning walk, I have my errands I have to run all listed so I can do them later (Jenna needs the car for work this morning - Jenna is my 20 YO daughter, in case you were wondering LOL), soooo that means I can READ most of the morning! I'm starting I read the novella that was in between this one and the last one and I've got to say I was really disappointed. There were only 6 chapters and a HUGE mistake in it. I'll read the other novellas later this week so I can count the book for us :)

I just finished Heaven Is for Real: A Little Boy's Astounding Story of His Trip to Heaven and Back. What a mouthful for such a little book. I do believe the cover definitely fits into the tangerine challenge . (Is this where we also post how things fit into the mini challenges? ~ I need more coffee...)

**waves to Cathie** Good Morning to my little sunkissed Tangerines!!! How are you all today??? I'm doing ok. Not a lot going on here today besides a Dr appt in a couple of hours and then a quick trip to the grocery to pick up some random "need" items.

I have finished 2 more books that I'm going to post in just a few minutes. That should bring my bookshelf total up to six books :) I decided since I have been so bad about starting all these books this past week I'm going to finish them all before I pick up anything else new. It's driving me crazy having all these started books laying around or sitting on my carousel on the kindle LOL

I hadn't, I'd tried to add that to the spreadsheet I made but it was too difficult for lunchtime so I gave up, never thought of just linking to it! Will do that now :)

BUT I think with the team members you have, we all are pretty responsible about making sure our books follow the guidelines and we play by the rules...**whipsers** you better watch Susan & Sho Sho though...they get kind of frisky and rambunctious sometimes LMBO!!!!

Thanks Cathie!!!!!!GOOOOOOOO ME I have been off from work the last 2-3 weeks due to a pesky virus that I CAN'T GET RID OF :( so I have been reading quite a bit lately while resting. The other thing that helps is I don't watch tv. I would rather read a book. LOL that does look like goo now that you mention it LMBO
