I was finally able to watch last Sunday's episode.

(view spoiler)[ I'm disappointed in Elizabeth, I think I liked her character because I always feel sorry for women who are trapped by society. I feel that way when I read historical romance too. I couldn't imagine living like that.
Also, I'm disappointed with how things panned out with the fight. The uncle just ran away and now Jasper has to run too :( (hide spoiler)]

Loved the new episode. This show is shaping up to be one of my favorite series. I felt so bad for Francis this episode. He really is lost. :( And Corky lost it when he realized what happened to Annie. Really a dramatic episode.

Seen the first two episodes so far and really enjoying it. I was a bit skeptical after episode #1 as Haverford didn't get what was coming to him but now that I've seen episode #2 justice has been done. I really wasn't expecting things to turn out that way.

I'm glad I found this thread. I tried to watch Copper because the premise is so intriguing and the history is something you don't often see on TV. But I just could not get into the characters and their violent ways.

Yeah, they all are pretty violent. There isn't really a good or bad guy either. There are lots of shades of gray in this series. That is one of the reasons I love it so much. There is no real hero. Although, to me, Corky comes pretty close. It really is a gritty show.

There are so many BBC shows I love and it sounds like Copper would be one of them. It's gotten great buzz. I'm just really reluctant to watch them in real time. Sherlock being the exception to every rule. I've had way too many BBC shows cancelled on me (Robin Hood and Demons most especially). I'll have to check this one out after a few seasons to avoid heartbreak.
