Aaron Thibeault (thebookreporter) | 16 comments Just finished reading Paul Tough's new book called 'How Children Succeed: Grit, Curiosity, and the Hidden Power of Character'. The book explores the character traits that lead to success, and how we can cultivate them in young people. It's a game changer. I've written an executive summary of the book available here:

Cheers,
Aaron

Tyler (alienlanes) | 9 comments Over the past 2 months, I have read this along with along with
NutureShock: New Thinking About Children
Willpower: Rediscovering the Greatest Human Strength
Brain Rules for Baby: How to Raise a Smart and Happy Child from Zero to Five
Bringing Up Bébé: One American Mother Discovers the Wisdom of French Parenting

All these are great books. I highly recommend this one for it's short takes on individual teachers and students. You get to meet the case-study participants. Most are inspiring and make me feel guilty for having so much.
