Hi all! So basically, I know that this book is a more recent YA novel (published within the last 3 years) and, if I can remember correctly, its cover is dark in color. I am also pretty sure that the title is a one-worder.

Anyways, all I can remember is that the book is part of the superhuman/paranormal/fantasy young adult genre and the characters are living at a college dorm (or maybe a coed boarding school but I'm thinking it was a college) of some sort. I am also pretty sure that each character had a power of some sort. One character's name was Ralph (I think) and he was an avid surfer and there was an Egyptian-descended girl too (I think her name could possibly start with an R and was under five letters). I do think that one of the characters was pregnant and the group of friends had to fight against some opposing force. I'm afraid that's all I remember. I'd really appreciate any inkling of help (:
