I have only read 2 pages of this book because we went out all day yesterday and so today has to be fleaning day which means I gotta switch to ipod/audiobook. So I'm sad that I wont get all of my scavenger hunt items.
But thats my life, right?

Ok, I was hoping this would fit into challenges that had draws on Saturday and it didn't so my reading will be slow. Feel free to read faster.

I got through chapter 1 and I am so far impressed.

How would you pronounce Cuelebre? In my head it comes out Cooly-brah, like some cheeky surfer dude greeting. I think it should sound more sophistocated, but I cant sound it out better.

I guess I used the Spanish pronounciation of snake. (Ku-lay-bra). That's whet it felt like to me

I read this last year and really liked it. I need to read the others in the series still.

I couldn't get into the book right now so I am going to try again later

@ Ez, now see that is what I was looking for. Almost said the same way, but the spanish accent makes it sound more sophisticated than the surfer dude accent I had.

Ok. I am back reading this book and I am about 1/3rd done. how is everyone else doing?
I think I will finish this book in the next two days and then read Driving Mr. Dead.

I loved Dragos! He reminded me of Barrons and Raphael from Guild Hunter.

BTW, I think this is my first straight up Dragon series. i really enjoyed it.

I read it last year but never started any of the others.

I heard that the next two weren't very good then after that the series gets back on track. That has put me off if for so long now. But if dragon gets called as a shelf for bingo that's what my choice will be.

That Bingo game...can it be played individually?

I really enjoyed this book. I love the whole concept, and Pia's true wyr form was a relevation !! I've actually read all the books in the series so far, and each one is unique and different because of all the different pairings that happen.

I loved Pia's Wyr form too. This book is full of all the different kinds of creatures

Well, I failed to get this one done in the month. But I have made progress, and I am enjoying it. I really feel that if it had fit in with a challenge I would have read it in just a few days. I hate to keep putting it down, but then I feel guilty about the team challenges I need to be reading for.

I will finish it just not by the end of today.

I just re-read a scene when Dragos misinterpreted Pia joking with him...and he wasn't pleased at all. Very nice and touching scene.

Finally finished! I really liked this book.

I liked the characters, I liked the plot. The magic pockets of magic lands was a new twist for me. It was a little hard to grasp conceptually.

Looking ahead at the rest of the series, ok it was instantly obvious the thunderbird didn't want Tricks to go because he was secretly in love with her. And I see there is another book about Pia and Dragos, which is good because I don't think they got through all thier issues in this book.

Loved the end when Dragos made Pia own up to her feelings.

Another favorite scene was when she left the tower and all that ensued. I heard the new one Lord Fall has a lot of Pia and Dragos.

I really like Gray but I heard he doesn't have a book (just like Nalini Singh and Illium/BlueBell in Guild Hunters series). My other favorite is Rune but he has a book.
