The cornocopia is set in the middle of a harsh desert, red sand stretches on for miles around... The heat blurs the horizon. There is NO water here. None. At all.


Also, pretty much the only animals out here are small rodents which are unlikely to be caught ( )

And various different species of poisonous snakes that infest every inch of Australia. Also spiders. LOTS and LOTS of spiders.
Oh, and camels.But they're pretty frickin' fast and there's like no chance you'd catch one on foot. And boy, they are NOT friendly. They will spit. They will kick. They will trample you given the chance. They travel in herds of about five or six.


Past the desert mountains lie rich grasslands filled with eucalyptus trees, ant hills and small creeks. There are animals that Australia is famous for, such as Kangaroos, Wallabies, Koalas, Echidnas, Wombats, Kookaburras, Dingos and Emus. Also Bearded Dragons >:3 And a couple of blue tongue lizards. And snakes. LOTS OF SNAKES.

Past that is the lush rainforest! Its main predators are snakes and spiders, as per usual, Cassowaries Those things can do some serious damage... And EVERY river or stream has...

CROCODILES ;D
By the way, that's a shark it's eating. Yeah, that's right. A shark. A FRIGGIN SHARK.

The wildlife in Australia in unique, astounding, and oh-so-very deadly ;)

The cornocopia contains ONLY handheld weapons; e.g Swords, tridents, axes, spears etc etc etc, a canteen for each tribute- each only half full.... ;)
And lastly, one loaf of bread each...

((Sweeetnessssssss, >XD I hope he lasts I wanna make him go rampaging. Where Josh goes, a river of blood is sure to follow. *happy sigh* I love gore~� I watched some random asian horror film torture scenes for ideas the other day. Is it bad that watching fingers and feet get cut off and eyeballs being ripped out does not faze me in the least?))

On his platform, Josh could smell it, the thirst for blood, his own of course being the strongest. None the less he could smell it and he tasted the air like one would taste a fine wine. Josh breathed in deep and licked his lips, what exquisite taste. Well, at least he wasn't going to get bored - at least he hoped not.

Josh waited patiently until the gong sounded and instead of running off like a dog with it's tail between it trembling legs, he calmly strolled up to the cornucopia, dodging a knife here, a feeble kick there and nimbly scooped up a few goodies. A girl tribute juxtaposition to Josh snarled at him like a vulgar beast and he rolled his eyes as he dodged a clumsy sword swipe at his neck. "Tch." He easily disarmed her and sent her packing. "How boring..." He droned in a listless tone. "Can no one put up a good fight?" He asked aloud moving away from the cornucopia. "Ah well, perhaps later~!" ^^

Marcie risies through the tube and she is washed over with heat, looking around all she sees is desert and mmore dryness great she thought this is not pplace for a babay she put her hands around her belly then looked at landed and noned torwards the mountais thts were she would go. the bell rang and she turned and ran as fast as a pregnent lady could she didnt look back to see if landen was with her he would just have to catch up o how she hoped he was ok

as soon as the bell rings jackson has a sickle and cantean and was off to the mountains leaving the caose at his back a knife wized path his ear he ran faster making great time

Nell's feet dart over the flat earth, barren and washed out, seeking some form of shelter as the other tributes go their own way. He runs to the nearest weapon strewn out around the cornocopia. It is a skinning knife and tied off to the handle is a sack. Nell has no time to inspect his items. Far off into the horizon he sees tall mountains protruding upwards, reaching for the sky. He doesn't think, he just keeps running.
Water exists at higher elivation,, he thought to himself, rainwater could still be up there.

It was going to be a looooong games if Serin was already this hot. He stood on the platform and met eyes with Luna, the only person from his alliance he could see. She nodded, and his eyes narrowed on a lovely, glistening sword in the mouth of the cornucopia. He almost couldn't wait for the sound if the gong. It was too tempting to step off the platform, but he knew he couldn't do that...

Ok. Real quick. Both my charries run and grab a bag from the cornucopia. They run away and loom for their alliances.

Jackson made it to the mountins by noon the sun was hot and he was covered in sweat his cantan was almost emty so he needed to just sit in the shade for a little, but no he couldnt he needed to find the rest of his alliacne first ((ALLISON MEET ME IN THE MOUNTAINSS AND FOR MARCIE SAME BUT THERE IN A DIFFRENT MOUNTAIN))

Charlie runs and grabs a bag at the cornucopia. He went straight to Landen and Cordelia. "Hey guys" he said, looking around. Desert, desert, and in the distance, he could see mountains

Aleka and Jason sprint to the cornucopia. Aleka grabs a small backpack, a few knives and a bow. Jason picked up a sword, a huge backpack then he turned to find Aleka. "Ready?" he asked. "Let's go find our alliance." Aleka said back. They run a little ways until they find a small hill to hide behind and wait for their alliance.

Luna and Artemis simultaneously run to the cornucopia as the cannon rings over the arena. They take opposite sides, each getting a backpack. Artemis grabs for a spear while Luna quickly picks up a Trident.

((won't be here for the next two days. Gtg to camp for Natural Helpers. :P))

Ariah spots Kalen on his pedestal, and he's eyeing all the weapons in the Cornucopia. She waves her arms about until she made eye contact with him. When she did, she shook her head, then pointed towards a hill for him to wait for her behind. She then pointed to herself then at the Cornucopia as if to say, "I'll get the stuff."

The gong sounds and Kalen does what he was told, he sprints off and hides behind the hill. Ariah sprints into the bloodbath, dodging the other tributes. She grabs two knives, two canteens, a couple of loaves of bread and two spears. She then runs (well, hobbles) towards the hill and finds Kalen there with two tributes from their alliance, Aleka and Jason.

There is too water

"Hey," Jason says to the both of them.
"Nice supplies," Aleka added. "Did you guys see anyone else from the alliance on your way here? We're still missing a bunch."

Cladessa runs to the Cornucopia and gets a sword, a canteen, and a loaf of bread. She follows Jason and Aleka behind a hill an crouches down. "Hey guys."

Jason looks over and flashes Cladessa a smile, "Hey you." he glances down at her sword and notices its identical to his. "Nice sword."

Landen looked around for Marcie looking off towars the mountains he saw her bent over, ignoring Charile and Cordelia he ran off to his wife

as landen left Cordelia remebered that she had to go find Jackson ugh she hated him why was her mentore making her pair up with him! she stormed of towards the mountians where she saw him run

Cladessa stared at Jasons gorgeous smile. It melted her heart every time she saw it. She heard him say something to her and she tried to tune back into reality. "What? Oh, um, yeah. Nice sword." She blushed and then looked around. "Did you guys see anyone else around?"

Jason smiled to himself. He noticed Cladessa's reaction to his comment. Works every time. He thought to himself. "I think I saw Formosus walking around the cornucopia when I was running here but that's it." Jason said.

((hey just saying i have to go like RIGHT NOW but idk when I'll be on next i've got a dance convention this weekend so please don't kill me if i don't come on until monday! (my monday :P) ))

Formosus stands on his platform looking at some people he smiled at one guy. Whoa Man this is going to be like cool, and my favorite weather, BONUS he thinks to himself. When he hears the gong go off he calmly walks over to the cornicopia and grabs a peice of bread and a tiny little dagger. "Ohhh this outa' do" he looked around "Where is that one girl, hmmmmm" Formosus said rubbing his whiskers. "Oh there she is, OH AALIYA!" he winked at her. Formosus walked over to his girlfriend, "Lookin good, so what do you wanna do?"

Lola stood on the platform waiting for the loud gong to go off. She had no one, what would she do? She started looking around then she saw this exremly handsome boy man. "Wow" she said quietly. Hmmm what should I do, suddenly a idea popped up in her head. I will stalk him and there alliance down she thought, she was so pleased with herself until her thoughts were interupted with a loud gong. Lola ran to the cornicopia and grabbed a long sharp sword, she then looked up and saw that attractive boy. Alrighty here we go she thought, and she began to follow them casually.

Formosus walked over to the allaince meeting spot. "Aye mt people, Man i am so tired! MAN MAN MAN!!" said Formosus.

Jason was speachless for a second then he chuckled and smiled. "How's it going?"

Aleka smiled at Formosus. She thought he was slightly ridiculous, but very good looking. She glanced over at Cladessa who still looked shocked that Jason had spoken to her. She had known him for quite a while and knew what he was doing. She wondered how it was going to play out.

Aaliya ran when the gong sounded. She grabbed two daggers and a bow and quiver. She also managed to snag some bread and a half full water bottle. She ran to Formosus when she spotted his blonde hair skipping away. "The word 'man' has lost all meaning" she said as she approached. She also saw the rest of her alliance.

Seeley heard the gong and ran. He grabbed bread, water and a sword. He saw Aleka and sprinted to her and the rest of their alliance. He swooped her up in his big arms and twirled her around, laughing all the while. "Hey beautiful!" he said smiling at her and the rest of the group.

Josh loped over to join the rest of the alliance and snorted at the lot, looking them over with narrowed eyes. "Y'all are PATHETIC. Why the hell did I even join up in this train wreck to be?" He jabbed an accusing finger at Seeley and Formosus. "First of all, you idiots are both insults to the word 'man', if y'all weren't drooling over those girls, then I wouldn't hesitate for a moment to call y'all gayer than a diamond studded rainbow. Love is for the weak and weaknesses in a group should be weeded out methinks." A slow smile spread over his face and malicious glint appeared in his brown eyes. "I'd be happy to do the 'weeding' if no one minds too much, it was my favorite chore at home after all." He said with a hopeful note in his voice.

"Just shut your mouth, you disgusting little cut-throat." Ariah hissed at Josh. "You're just an immature little child from District Eight who's just happy to finally get some attention after starving for most of your life. Now, I suggest that we all agree to a truce right now, or this alliance is NOT going to work out."

Seeley nodded. He wasn't affected by Josh's words. They would not stop him from loving Aleka. "Good idea," he said holding out his hand to josh. Maybe this phycopath would be the death of him but he was sure funny

Aleka wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him. Then she heard someone. After Josh had finished speaking she put on a smug, devilish smile and said in a mocking voice, "I think someone's a little jealous..." Seeley gave her a look and she stopped. She heard Ariah say something to Josh then saw Seeley agree. She hadn't been paying much attention but knew that they we're making a truce. She stayed at Seeley's side, glaring at Josh.

Jason wanted to punch Josh square in the face, but he agreed with the rest of the group that they had to somewhat get along. "I'll make a truce," he walked over to Josh and said menacingly, "But if I ever catch you doing something to hurt someone in this alliance, especially those girls, I will personally slice you to pieces-" "Jason!" Aleka said warningly. "Fine." he backed away from Josh and went back to the place he had been sitting before.

Aaliya stayed silent. She knew exactly what she would do if josh came after someone in their alliance. She would pin him to the ground, take out her dagger and cut out the names of each alliance member into his skin. She wouldn't kill him. Just leave him out in the hit sun for a while. He would die within a day. Aaliya didn't speak this aloud though. Formosus was beside her and she didn't want to say it in front of him.

"Whatever," Jason said a little annoyed, "we need to get moving or I really might have to slice and dice someone." He saw the shocked look on people faces. "I'm kidding." Jason said laughing. "You should stay close." He said quietly to Cladessa and winked as he passed.
