hyphenated words are treated as a single word
Articles (The, A, An, etc) may be used

Riona (rionafaith) Does the word "the" count-- for example, The Three Stigmata of Palmer Eldritch? (The, Three)

A few I found from my shelves (please let me know if these don't work!):
Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea
The Pox Party
The Bad Beginning (most in this series should work)
Darkly Dreaming Dexter
The Physick Book of Deliverance Dane
The Thirteenth Tale
Brooklyn, Burning

It's an ebook that would need to be verified for length at ebook Verification- and it seems to be about 20 pg

Fiona (Titch) Hunt (titch) No worries, will keep looking now I have an idea of what is needed x

That works, but it needs to be verified for length at ebook verification. If you are using ebooks, please check the google document first to see if your book has already been verified. And when you post in Completed Tasks, ebooks without print editions must include either the post number where it was approved in that thread or the location in the google document.

Riya (riyaishere) | 188 comments I want to make sure the following book works for this task: Who Moved My Cheese?

"Moved" and "My"

Also, this book is less than 100 pages. Is that ok?

Moved My works- you may use one book between 80-100 pages for a 5 point task per challenge- as long as that's your only <100 pg book, it works

You do not have to post your reading plans. You only need to post your completed tasks.

I'm not sure what you mean by "Looks like i have task 5.2 done then", do you mean planned? The winter challenge does not start until December 1. Reading for the winter tasks doesn't begin until then- there are some very limited exceptions- see the Rules #10

Pam wrote: "I thought the challenge already started so i have already read the book planned to read for the above mention. I have just read your rules for the challenge i read a lot of free ebooks. The on..."

If you haven't already read the SRC Overview that's a good place to start. I hope it explains the process.
Only books read during the challenge period may be used (and rule #10) You may not claim books read before December 1 for the Winter Challenge.

You do not need to get each book pre-approved. You could/should ask questions in the task's help thread if you're not sure if a book will work or if you want reassurance. You could post in the 5.1 help thread for The Floating Light of the Goodwin Sands

Now is a good time to practice adding book, cover, and author links Instructions

Jody | 123 comments How about Angry Housewives Eating Bon Bons?
I always think of Bon Bons as one item but it is two words. Maybe I'm just over thinking it.

Witch and Wizard -- the & is a symbol on all the materials (even when you look it up in GR -- just not in the link)

Even the & would make it non-consecutive. Sorry, it doesn't work
