eilis I do too. At some point in the series Coach Hedge says that he was in Quebec during the war and in The Last Olympian it says that the letter was from Canada.

johanna (jo) Oohhh o3o

Gabby I just found! It's actually on page 73; I wonder if Rick Riordan had planned to write the Heroes of Olympus at the point of writing Last Olympian and he knew he would need a new satyr. But I had never noticed that before!

Leah Rhiannon wrote: "That Coach Gleeson Hedge was mentioned in 'Percy Jackson and the Last Olympian'. On page 69(ish) they were reading reports and there was a letter to Grover from Gleeson Hedge, do you think it was t..."

Yes! I totally remember this. I was rereading Last Olympian (after I had already read TLH) and I was freaking out

Nerdly I have found offical PROOF that it is the same satyr!! :) if you look in The Last Olympian on page 73 Percy Jackson reads a letter from a Gleeson Hedge, and on the FIRST page of The Mark of Athena it says that Annabeth talked to Coach GLEESON HEDGE!!! :D Super excited I found that!!!! :D

Nicoleofan {mellie} I never thought about it but now that you mention it. . .oh great, now I'm probably going to reread every Rick Riordan book trying to find more information:)

Captain Cheesecake In the lost hero Jason says when he flips his sword/coin thing it lands a certain way and he says something about it and then before that everybody gasped so I don't know if the sword changes if the coin lands on heads or tails. This sounds really confusing but if you look at that part of the book it will make sense. It's the part where the campfire at the beginning of the book when Jason is standing up there when Rachel says the prophecy.

Neha I did in the second read of The Last Olympian after reading upto Son of Neptune.

Michaela I know he is soo the same satyr

Cassidy Riordan, you sneaky author :P
