It needs to be the article of clothing tie. I suppose Men's necktie would be what I envisioned but I would take cravat or one of those womens scarves pinned or knotted around the neck (not sure if they have a name).
Bow tie, clip on, bolo tie will all work too.

Tie Week:

For body parts I found shoulder, nose, eyes, and elbow. Any preference on which one I should claim?

The Graveyard Book - Neil Gaiman
Finished: Dec. 1st, 2012
Rating: 4/5
I love Neil Gaiman's novels, and this one is no exception. It has just the right combination of darkness and sweetness. Nobody Owens (Bod for short) is raised in a graveyard after his family is killed by a mysterious man when he's a toddler. The novel follows him as he grows up with his adoptive parents (a ghost couple) in the graveyard, the only place where he is safe from the man who killed his family. The way the story reads is part novel, part interconnected short stories. Each chapter is from a different time in Bod's life, usually at about 2-year intervals. There are ghouls, witches, werewolves, vampires, schoolyard bullies and everything in between. I found myself completely engrossed and eager to follow Bod on all of his adventures. I really enjoyed this book, but be warned: once you pick it up, you won't want to put it down!
Items to claim:
Tie: "She wore a bulky mackintosh and a man's tie around her neck." (pg. 66)
Moonlight: "The moonlight was enough." (pg. 9)
Bone: "My bones are here." (pg. 28)
Emergency vehicle: "...first a police car, then an ambulance..." (pg. 33)

Awesome Sam! And I totally agree with your review. I like how you described it as dark and sweet that is a perfect fit.

My review:
The Irresistible Earl is the fourth book I've read by Regina Scott and I really enjoyed it! I really liked the characters and loved seeing them grow. One character in particular surprised me as I had misjudged him and what kind of man he was - I was pleased to find out I was wrong and he was actually a great guy. :)
A little bit of The Irresistible Earl reminded me of Cinderella - Meredee's father had remarried giving her a stepmother and stepbrother. Later, her father dies and Meredee sort of has to serve her stepmother - who isn't evil or anything, just needy.
The romance was very sweet and made The Irresistible Earl even more enjoyable to read. Sir Trevor Fitzwilliam was introduced in this book and I look forward to reading An Honorable Gentleman (Trevor's story) as soon as I can. I recommend The Irresistible Earl if you enjoy historical romance. :)
*I received this book as a gift from the author. I did not have to write a review, but chose to - all thoughts and opinions expressed are my own.*
Items claimed:
Tie: "A tall fellow with an impossibly red coat and purple trousers stepped into the clearing, his cravat tied in a complicated fold." Page 103
Sunshine: "She scanned the area, eyes narrowed against the summer sun." Page 7
Shoulder: "Meredee wrapped her arms around the girl, and Lady Phoebe lay her head on her shoulder." Page 183
Musical Instrument: "...Phoebe was playing at the spinet..." Page 63

It always works that way with me too. I blame power of suggestion. You don't notice how frequently these items are in books until you are looking for them.

LOL. I got my copy from the library today. She is a riot.
