You missed the year long read/re-read of Georgette Heyer over at RRRC. I even have a Heyer shelf. You should definitely pick one of hers and read it together.
I picked up a bunch of Heyer when they were rereleased as ebooks recently and read a few then. However, I still have many others to go, and one hard copy I started a while back and never finished.I first learned of Heyer as a recommendation from the website of a male Australian YA fantasy writer. Amazing, hunh? He had a list of writers and books he found particularly wonderful for different reasons, and she was one of the authors he admired.
Anyway, if you do a buddy read, let me know. I'd love to join in. Midu, it sounds like her books are quite the change of pace from the books you've been reading ;-)
