How to start a new Discussion Topic. Discussion topics are also sometimes referred to as a thread.
You may want to start a new thread to post a challenge in the 'Make Your Own' or 'Member Challenges' or 'Buddy Read' sections.
There are two placed to start from.
From the main group home page at the top
or from the section you want to post into.
Clicking on either place will this page.
Just fill in the blanks.
TOPIC: Whatever you type here is what your link will show. It is the words you will click on to get into the thread.
THIS TOPIC IS ABOUT: You can enter a book or author here if your thread is for something like a buddy read. GR uses this as a tag so others looking at the book will know there is a discussion topic.
FOLDER: If you were in the right folder or section when you chose 'new topic' this should auto populate to the right folder. If you started from the group home page it will not auto populate, there is a dropdown box for you to choose from.
Then as normal type in the comment box and click the post button.
