Is Michelle Leighton really M. Leighton? As in the Bad Boys series? As in, I will freaking flip?!

Omg yay, Maria V.! And yay to Gretchen McNeil, too! 3 59 is on my wishlist, so I'm totally going to that signing.

I'm really looking forward to Gretchen McNeil too! I've been drooling over a 3:59 bookmark every evening! Haha

OMG YES! I LOVE YOU MARIA ::coughs:: I mean, I'll be sad its not the third Healer book, but omg new MVS!!

Its exactly what it sounds like, a panel of publicists from each of the publishers talk about books that are up coming that they are excited about.

Yup. That's what she told me a few weeks ago. I so want her there!

Liliana Hart will be at BEA signing copies of KILL SHOT along with Denise Grover Swank according to HART's facebook.
Also Leanna Renee Hieber will be signing copies of The Twisted Tragedy of Miss Natalie Stewart at the RWA booth, times TBD.

Ha, I just came over to add Leanna, but of course Lexie is right on top of it all! ;)

Ninja! also did y'all see that Spencer Hill is planning author breakfasts w/their authors for BEA? I am VERY interested!
That's amazing news! I loved Throne of Glass!
How do you find out about all these authors attending, anyway? You're like the Bookish Dick Tracey!

LOL, OK. I totally missed that email in the shuffle of the other 30+ I got. Whoops! Now I see it!

SO MANY BOOKS THAT NEEDS SIGNING!"
I'm so psyched they're coming to Baltimore, too! That means that while seeing them at BEA would be awesome, it's not a HUGE priority. Odds are I'd get to see them more in Baltimore.

SARAH! My shiny everlasting stars above yes! That tour schedule is like the exact opposite of my travel schedule for work. I'll be in Chicago the week AFTER they are for instance.
And not to nitpick, but wouldn't it make more sense to be in Philly then Pittsburgh THEN Baltimore? I mean Pittsburgh is technically closer...and in the same state...
Oh I can't wait!!

Oh I can't wait!!
But no, because Pittsburg is 8 hours from Philly, and if you look at the map, it has a nice route.
Yeah, It was like 5 hours from Hershey (I should know, I made Mike drive from Hershey to Columbus (as in Ohio) and then to Pittsburgh to visit his uncle. Then back to Hershey on our way home. Road trips man...
SIGH. Lexie, you've done this a million (5? 6?) times: How much longer until the schedule is out?
I'm DYING here.
I'm DYING here.
This year will mark my...wait let me count. 2007, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013--6th time.
Oh my god my SIXTH TIME. ::fit of vapors::
In answer to your question its customary for it to start popping up about a month before the show (so in this case late April). Because I'm a bit impatient myself, I asked one of my friends at ReedExpo and they said not to expect it before the third week of April at the earliest (there's apparently a lot of behind the scenes tomfoolery going on with some of the pubs).

To be fair Jen I started attending as an educator--my first year I don't think there were ANY bloggers (at least not that identified as such), I met only librarians and teachers and industry folk. My third year I met a few bloggers (including certain people named Tasch and Emily and Jen) and from there it snowballed out of control XD
And so everyone knows, I started a Å·±¦ÓéÀÖ list for all the books that are confirmed to either be there (at the booths) or for signings (booth or autograph area). http://www.goodreads.com/list/show/34...
Obviously there's some authors not listed, but I can't find some of the books easily, so feel free to add as you like.

I love you, Lexie. I do.
And while end of April feels like an eternity, its nice knowing I don't have to keep checking the website every day. I can relax or whatever.
For some reason I thought we had the schedule 2 months last year before BEA that the schedule was out. What tomfoolery do you speak of?

Great list! I (in all my dorkdom) started an excel with authors & books but I think I may be missing a couple.
@Hannah - we did have one that came out about 7 weeks before, but it was so riddled with issues and wrong information they took it down briefly until about 5 weeks out. Then they just kept updating it continually for the next month (tho I don't know if any of you remember, but there was still a LOT of problems with the 'final' version).
Well to be as vague as possible, some pubs are being pushy about space and about exposure (as well as...well the Power Readers thing. Which my friend was saying caused so much headaches for them Publisher Relation wise last year). So its making it difficult for them to appropriately plan out the floor and such.
I love the word tomfoolery.

Oh Hannah, you've done it now... YOU MUST READ THRONE OF GLASS, PRONTO (and then you can help me and Lexie decide which suitor is the best for Celaena because we are on opposing teams on this one).
^ The choice is obvious. She totally needs to be with Dorian. Chaol is too.... subdued. He's more BFF material. :)
OUT WITH YOU WENCHES CHAOL RULES. Dorian. Gah! How did I fall into such a pack of ruffians as to want a PRINCE of all creatures.
I'm watching you both!
I'm watching you both!

to be perfectly honest I'd be happy if she ended up with no one, or in a perfect non-YA world both of them, but since she's likely to end up with one I'd prefer Chaol. Actually I'd love it if she ended up with the Princess, after the Silent Assassins showed up to show Chaol and Dorian both whatfor.
But that's just me.
Also I think Chaol would be a stabilizing effect on her in a way that Dorian could never be.

In all honesty, I'd be happy with either. Or both. A Celaena sandwich. That's what needs to happen. Lucky girl.
