I recently saw the trailer with Spanish subtitles. I see the Spanish fandom is big on this book and I wonder if there's any English fandom at all. Because if there's not then the movie won't be translated to English and it's unlikely to come here to Mexico, which would be a shame. So I'd like to know who is in the fandom? I need someone to talk with about this awesome trilogy.

Well, I know there is a lot of fandom in germany!
I love them!

Is there a movie comming? sorry i guess im not totally up to date. i dont know about the english stuff, im from the netherlands. but i hope so though..

Okay so i just googled it. there is a german movie comming, which is a little bit logical since kerstin gier is german. and i am pretty sure that it will have english subtitles. i am from the netherlands and pretty much every dutch movie can have english subtitles. but that is only with the dvds. so i am not sure if it will be in theaters everywhere. i am going to germany to watch it.

I would love for there to be a movie!!!! But thus far, there I haven't seen much fandom here in the States..... :(

Hey guys,
I saw the movie a little while ago (I am lucky enough to be a film critic in Germany and get to see press releases), and it really wasn't very good. I would be surprised if it ever got dubbed into English. It was more of the quality of a made-for-tv movie than a cinematic one. I was actually quite disappointed.

I'm hoping that at some point it may become better appreciated in the States or Britain, but sadly it doesn't seem to be happening.
