I'd say not really. I finished because I'm one of those people who just has to see what happens once I've made a commitment to a series, but this one was just mediocre by the end.

My vision has cleared and my slight head wound is better. I read a YA Stones In Water which is partially set in the Ukraine, while I was recovering.
