One Day, 437 pages.

Whew! That was close. I was looking at a different edition, and it had 435 pages (which I've already used.) Who would've thought that, with only 3 books posted here, I'd have to start worrying about not duplicating!

The Camel Club, 606 pages.

And

Lisez la Fleur (Read the Flower) ~ Part One: The Beautiful Beginning 69 pages finished 1/24/2013 (Hey, every little bit counts, right?)

Every little bit does count but...
"If your book is only in digital edition and does not include page numbers, then we will not allow it for this tower (this is just to make it easier for us to keep score)."

The book page, unfortunately, does not include page numbers!

Bad luck, Lynn! A pretty sizeable cannon & quite accurate aim but the enemy was well-prepared and got a shot in too. Thankfully, it merely grazed the side of your head...

Please do NOT report any other reads until you have completed your recovery task & let me know when you have completed your recovery task in this thread.

Your recovery task is Famous Fortress #5 - Palanok Castle - Ukraine

The number triggered by Lynn was 19,172.

Oh no! It stung badly, but I've bandaged up my head and once my vision clears I will be getting to my recovery task.

OK, I haven't been aiming at this tower at all, so let me try a few hits. Loading my giant slingshot...pulling back with all my strength...

The Deeds of the Disturber - 289 pages

loading and pulling back again....

To Play with Fire: One Woman's Remarkable Odyssey - 447 pages

loading again...gosh this is getting hard...

What Angels Fear - 341 pages

Switching to cannon....must easier....reaching out to the side to light the fuse....one hand over my ear and ducking my head....

The Social Climber's Handbook: A Novel - 247 pages

one more....in the catapult...hopefully quieter than the cannon

Maisie Dobbs - 294 pages

message 118: by Candiss (new)

Candiss (tantara) My other reads have all fit on other towers, but my latest finished book doesn't, so I'll load it up over here.

What a soldier, you are, Bea! The problem is if you're shooting continuously from one spot, the enemy will surely pinpoint your location! Fortunately, they're not very good at their aim, so your injury is nothing vital... still, that means you're off the field for a bit...

Please do NOT report any other reads until you have completed your recovery task & let me know when you have completed your recovery task in this thread.

Your recovery task is Famous Fortress #6 Citadelle Laferriere Haiti

I'd say not really. I finished because I'm one of those people who just has to see what happens once I've made a commitment to a series, but this one was just mediocre by the end.
