Please feel free to post your Aussie Author reads here throughout the year, both male and female...it's great to see how many you have read, and how many new ones you've found, by the end of the year:)

Bronwyn Rykiert | 315 comments It seems last years lists have gone and I did not get to update, probably because I am a bit late. I am just finishing my November read for Australia Authors with a twist and I did not even get to put my other books by Aussie Authors, I will try this year to be a bit faster with my posting.

I have just finished reading my first book for the year and it is very Australian The Burial by Courtney Collins - it was interesting to say the least. I read it for a book club I was in and now that is closed and I have no-one to discuss it with and it is a book that could provoke quite a discussion I think.

C.A. Hocking (cahocking) Just finished reading Pulse and looking forward to the next one in the series. Also finished reading Cocaine Blues, Flying Too High and Murder on the Ballarat Train. I've bought the fourth in the Phryne Fisher series, Death at Victoria Dock. Enjoying it very much and nice to think I can indulge in this character for many more books.

C.A. Hocking (cahocking) I'd be interested to know what you think when you have read them, Brenda. I have ... mixed feelings. But they are addictive.

Mish | 3594 comments I've finished Mice by Gordon Reece I liked it - it was gripping and kept me on edge but there were aspects of the book I felt uneasy with

I listened to Cocaine Blues on audio and I enjoyed it. It was a light, fun murder mystery.

Great review Mish, but it makes you wonder why books like this one are labelled YA!

message 21: by Mish (new)

Mish | 3594 comments Yes I wondered why throughout the book. I would say it because the narrator is a 16yo but I still think it’s wrong. They should look at the message they are portraying here not the age of the narrator.
