Nina | 6069 comments Joy, I ordered, "Birdsong," from Netflix. I'll post what I think after watching it. I moved it to my # 1 spot so shouldn't be too long a wait.

Nina | 6069 comments "Birdsong," is arriving on Thursday. In the meantime, these books were suggested by one of my book club members for next year. "The Light Between the Oceans," by M. L. Steadman and "The Heart of Hearing Heartbeats," by Jan Phillipp Sendker. Ever heard of them? Off to make Potato Leek soup; have a Happy New Year to all of my g.r. friends.

Last night, New Year's Eve, I went to a New Year's show at our local Wood Theater. Then Ed and I watched the ball come down in NYC via TV while sipping our traditional Royal Crown Manhattans.

Here's to a New Year of more good reading!
