I really like a little bit of dark chocolate--been eating a little every day. Supposedly you are not supposed to mix it with milk--hurts health effects.

I agree with Halle that dark chocolate makes me feel sophisticated and milk chocolate makes me feel like a kid.
I try to avoid eating chocolate while reading because I am a messy eater and would leave brown fingerprints.
I do like dark chocolate, though!

a little bit goes a long way. :)
Any favorites..I've tried to purchase 70 percent since that is what the health gurus suggest...

Ghirardelli (my daughter gave me some Citrus flavored for Xmas... so yummy!)
Dagoba (they make a lavender flavor that rocks)
Scharffenberger is a big favorite, but it tends to be very thick bars. Great for cooking.
Fran's makes an AMAZING dark chocolate sauce TO DIE FOR. Seriously the best stuff to ever be put in a jar.
But my favorite local hero is this guy:
I have met him out at high end shopping areas giving away chocolates on a tray. Some of the best chocolate I have ever tried. And he makes chocolate bowls. Truly gorgeous amazing art sculptures that you can eat.
How about you? Any favorites?

Last night, my husband and I were watching the second part of the 24 premier, and he bought some good craft beers to make it more festive. The piece de resistance was choklat, an imperial stout made with dark chocolate! There are quite a few dark ales with chocolate tones, but in this you could really taste the dark chocolate! You drink it in snifters, like brandy, to enjoy it's wonderful aroma!

Please tell, Deborah - the brand of beer?
LIZ, lover of all things chocolate, especially DARK!
