Have you ever read a book that made you think of a certain song while reading it, or maybe heard a song that made you think of a scene in a book you just read? I havnt until yesterday while reading Blood, Smoke and Ashes there is a section towards the beginning that made me think of the song GO AND GET A KNIFE by King gordy. I will try to post a link to the youtube video of the song latter for anyone who has read the book. I was thinking maybe we could make some kind of game out of matching up songs to the group reads to create unofficial soundtracks for the book just for fun. What do you guys think?

I am reading Nightcrawlers and it makes me think of a song by lokey. Unfortunately I don't know the name of the song but the chorus go's

Love this thread! I've thought of adding 'suggested listening' to some of my reviews because a song will describe a book so well. Fun to have an outlet for that now. :)
