The book "Congo" is a thrilling read about an expedition team that was sent on a mission to mine rare gems that form in the deepest, most uncharted parts of the congo but are mysteriouly, and brutally killed. With video evience of the expedition team's death, Earth Resources Technology services (ERTS) sends forth another team into the heart of the Congo to the old city ruins of Zinj to mine rare diamonds from within the underground portion of the city. Along the way to the city, the team is tormented by the hostile landscape, cannablistic natives, and the mysterious creatures that killed the last expedition team. It is the team's ultimate test for survival. I gav this book 4 stars beause the beginning of the sory was very slow but as it progressed I was amazed at how suspenseful the plot became. The author used many different types of diction in his story to comensate for the wide range of characters in the story.I would definately reccomend this book to anyone who likes a good edge-of-your-seat page turner.
