Annalea (poetsinprose) | 20 comments I'm an editor/writing coach/proofreader. I've done some professional work, but mostly I love to help authors. I got started helping roommates and floormates at college turn their low-graded papers into A papers. Talk about a rush . . . ;o) I've had great opportunities to work with some authors in the last few months, and I'm eager for more. Right now, this is a hobby-type thing for me. I don't need to support my family; I'm keeping my skills sharp and loving working with words again.

I have something of a forte with regency romance (I've read a lot of Heyer, and others) {grin}, but I've edited all kinds of (clean/non-horror) things.

Here's how I'm currently working:

First read-through is free. You provide a copy of the book, and I'll get back to you with quoted lines and notes in a reasonable period of time, (usually about a week, depending on the length of the book), and am happy to discuss and work through problem spots, etc. Any work after that can be negotiated; and I'm just working for hobby money right now, so I'm pretty darn affordable, even for self-pub indie authors.

I blog about writing at , and you can contact me at [email protected]

For more work history:

I'll add a link with feedback from authors with which I've worked soon.

Jan Domenico (goodreadscomjand) | 1 comments Having done editing, writing, and proofreading most of my adult life, it was easy to want to do this on a professional level. I enjoy working with beginning authors and helping them organize their work into something that could have audience appeal. I quickly learned that I want to work with "clean" manuscripts, and let the reading public know that good writing doesn't have to contain graphic material.

You can find out more about me by going to my Website at where I go into detail about my services and the pricing. I also have a blog on the site plus other useful information.

I love family history, and I am especially interested in helping people put together their family stories that can be passed down to future generations.

You can also contact me at [email protected] if you have any questions.

I am very flexible and will work with anyone who needs my services.

Linda Gatewood | 5 comments Even though I am published through a traditional publisher who provides professional editing, I still have Jan’s Editing Service execute a second professional edit on my books. Jan has a built-in intuition and hard-earned knowledge about the flow and content of the story that is truly impressive, along with a complete understanding of the complexity of the English language and structure. I completely trust her critique and appreciate the kind and thoughtful (yet, thorough) manner it is delivered. Her edit on my second book, Spring Promise (just published), made a huge difference in the content, of which I am very grateful!Linda Gatewood

Julie | 1 comments I'm an editor/proofreader. I currently work for a small publisher of clean fiction and do freelance work on the side. I'm a mom of 6 kids and I love to read for an escape :) Editing is something I have found to be very fulfilling for me - I love to work with authors to polish up their manuscripts and help get them ready for publishing.

I also blog with my sisters over at Tifferz and Her Sisterz Book Reviewz ( )

I can be reached at our blog email: [email protected]

Pricing is flexible depending on needs.
