I had 8 books for the month of March. Here goes:
4. Life Sentences by Laura Lippmann. Like Barry, I'm rating this an Ivy "ehh". Sorry Laura but it just didn't do it for me.
"
I've had this out from the library but will probably have to return it unread. Sorry to see that you did not enjoy it that much since I know you have really liked some of her other work.

Darn. I ordered this one hardcover because I like Lippmann's standalones so much. I'm sorry to hear y'all didn't enjoy it much. I guess I'll backburner it for a while.

I"m trying to figure this one out? Can anyone tell me what it means please? Thanks!
Lori, it's New To Me Author.
Someday when I have time, I'll have to look into publishing the Mystery/Thriller glossary here on our Å·±¦ÓéÀÖ site.

Yes it was a major disappointment. I really loved To the Power of Three.

Waaaaaahhhhh! I'm so sorry to hear that so many didn't like this book as well as Lippman's other standalones.

Thank you so much! I was going nuts trying to figure that one out.

I had 8 books for the month of March. Here goes:
6. Never Tell a Lie by Hallie Ephron, NTMA, Debut. Liked this but had it sort of figured out. I see that the author will be at Bouchercon in Indy.
7. Three Weeks to Say Goodbye by CJ Box. NTMA
I read both of these books to and they were NTMAs also. I liked Three Weeks. Never Tell A Lie was ok but just a little too easy to figure out.
I had 8 books for the month of March. Here goes:
1. Love Mercy by Earlene Fowler. I enjoyed this fun read. And like Melodie said, we get Benni, Gabe and others.
2. Breakneck by Erica Spindler. This was a fast read featuring Riggio and Lungren as they investigate the "breakneck" killer targeting youn clean cut adults. Has cyber stuff.
3. Mrs. Pollifax on Safari by Dorothy Gilman. Picked this up at my mom's house one weekend. Since I've been on safari, it was fun to read this one.
4. Life Sentences by Laura Lippmann. Like Barry, I'm rating this an Ivy "ehh". Sorry Laura but it just didn't do it for me.
5. Don't Look Twice by Andrew Gross. NTMA except when he writes with J. Patterson. Quick read, likeable m/c Ty.
6. Never Tell a Lie by Hallie Ephron, NTMA, Debut. Liked this but had it sort of figured out. I see that the author will be at Bouchercon in Indy.
7. Three Weeks to Say Goodbye by CJ Box. NTMA. I like the writing style and enjoyed the book.
8. Wishful Drinking by Carrie Fisher. N/F Fast look into her odd life.
