New Pewter Blue Tracker: New-Pewter-Blue-Tracker
Remember all the mini-challenges are optional. They are just for fun and to encourage team interraction. We do get bonus points for the August one so the more who participate the easier it will be to earn bonus points.

August-Challenge-Discussion This is where we discussed our ideas to submit to the mods for the challenge.
August-Not-Quite-An-Octogon-Challenge-Player-Updates-This is for players to keep track, if they want to, of what they might want to read for the August challenge & what categories their books might fit.

Just for me to reference who has safely made the move:
9/13
Andrea:7/23/13
Barbara:7/23/13
Brooke: 7/22/13
Holly:messaged
Imke: 7/22/13
Mary: 7/22/13
Michael: 7/23/13
Nancy: 7/22/13
Nika: 7/22/13
Riya:7/22/13
Sarah:7/22/13
Teresa:7/22/13
Vicky: 7/22/13

But I'll see if I can get some stuff started. Going to peruse the other teams to figure out what info I need here.
Although I can't access the Pewter_Blue_Spreadsheet *pouts* I did add Pewter Blue to the .
All members had joined the challenge and the team's total is now 48 books.
Happy Readings

Mary - In the upper right hand corner there is a "share" button. Click on that. A window should pop up showing share settings.
About the middle of the screen is options - Who has access. Click on the "Change" link and if you change the option to "anyone with the link" then your team should be able to view the spreadsheet.
Hope this helps!
LOL! I hope so, too. I think we'll mention it again in the NBRC newsletter that sign-ups are still open. Or maybe I should on the Bulletin Board? Of course, then we might get those "bogus" accounts asking to sign-up.

Maybe I should send a PM with links team message threads.

Have fun!
I'm very sleepy so this is not my most verbose, lol. I'm even too tired to find and post an image. I'll come pester you guys again soon!

I need something short to break them up though. (also to connect Ayn Rand to Haruki Murakmi in another author chain type challenge). So today I am reading:

Imke, if you tell me which cover was on your eBook for Memories of a Geisha, I'll add the cover.

Finished

Edit: finished Eve of Destruction.

I planted some grape tomatoes:

and some lettuces:

This is the first year that I'm really doing a veggie garden. We have guinea pigs and I've grown herbs & lettuce in pots for them before. But this year I decided to do a full garden for us and the piggies.

So hopefully some more people will sign up and we'll have a shot.

I had a nice relaxing day of reading, the weather was horrible here (raining all day and so cold).
I finished

Tomorrow it's back to work.
SOME CHANGES:
If only one Team completes this task, we will award them seven (7) additional books/points. If it is split, as it was for May, we will award each Team reaching the goal four (4) additional books/points. Any Team that completes at least three (3) of the following categories, for a total of 21 books, will receive a one (1) book advantage.
For the purposes of this challenge, and because their Team goals are so low, we are going to allow Cadet Blue and Pewter Blue to work together as a Team.

So are 3 players supposed to get 49 books in, that work in the above categories, combined?
