✿C±ô²¹¾±°ù±ð✿ (clairelm) | 1222 comments Cathie, yes, I'll update how many pages people have read tomorrow :)

ShoSho, do you want to join in with maybe an 800 page goal? Somewhere in the middle?

I'll work on the wordsearches tomorrow - I love doing word puzzles so I'll enjoy that :)

The first mini challenge has been posted and it's ours :)

Cathie (catitude) | 999 comments I'm going to read One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest. For some reason it won't let me bring up the cover I am reading with the search box???

The cover I am reading is more golden than orange (rooftop on it) but this book is listed on the orange covers page that the link was posted to before. So can I use it as my orange book?

Robin (Saturndoo) (robinsaturndoo) | 1319 comments Hi Ladies!!!!

Wooot Wooot!!! Our mini challenge is the first one up How did we get so lucky lol. I had planned on spending today reading because it is rainy, cold and now snowing,AGAIN. Instead, I had to go to town and get tires put on my car. When we picked it up yesterday from the repair shop, the Mister noticed that one of my tires was bad.....grrrrrrrr. I did get some reading done while I sat and waited and I plan on reading here shortly after I get my shower.

I hope everyone is doing well and enjoying your books I will be completing a book (maybe two) tonight and I will be back to post them later!

ShoSho (shoshost) | 446 comments Cathie wrote: "yep, that's the one, ShoSho"
Yeah it doesn't show this version in the search box.

when you want to post it here, add the one without cover and then replace the number 17861376 with 332613 you'll get the one with the orange cover .

Cathie wrote: "Is there a link to the mini challenge?"

The mini-challenges submitted by each Team - such as today's "Green with Envy" - may be posted in main May Tower Teams Read-a-Thon" thread created by Sonia. However, some Teams are also posting them within their group thread here - or in a specific thread over in the "sister group."

I changed the name of this one, to avoid confusion: Mini Non-Reading Games & Puzzles for Cupcakes from LK.

✿C±ô²¹¾±°ù±ð✿ (clairelm) | 1222 comments Well done ShoSho! Thanks, I'll do the wordsearches when I get home over a cuppa :)

I'm reading The Eyre Affair (Thursday Next, #1) by Jasper Fforde now, so far it's better than the last Jasper Fforde book I read. I'll probably start my theme book tonight and the colour one tomorrow :)

✿C±ô²¹¾±°ù±ð✿ (clairelm) | 1222 comments Ok so I've done the first wordsearch because it's more interesting that statistics, will email it in and do the other one later!

Susan, it was an ok book. (If I Stay) I rated it 2.5 stars. No surprises, no complications; if you read the dust jacket you know exactly what you are getting. It's a very quick, easy read.

It is a romance novel centering around being a mail order bride. The historical fiction part I ate up; I love that sort of thing. The writing is average.

Cathie (catitude) | 999 comments Ok, on the Team Assignments round II spreadsheet, I have a yellow marked thing beside my name that indicates my goals do not match??? What???

Someone please let me know what I'm not doing that I should be doing?

✿C±ô²¹¾±°ù±ð✿ (clairelm) | 1222 comments I've emailed the answers to the wordsearches and book cover scramble. ShoSho, are you going to do the ladder one? My brain appears to be a bit to fried to cope with that one! Might have to go back to a combination of a parallel world and masterchef while I have my cuppa!

Cathie wrote: "Someone please let me know what I'm not doing that I should be doing?"

Everything is fine, Cathie. Not to worry. You goal was 75 in Round I and now is 150, so your percent doesn't match in the last column. I haven't decided if I'm going to adjust that number or not.

The yellow highlight shows that you increased from your initial sign-in request. That is all. Which is perfectly fine. Some people change their goal as often as they change their.... uh, er... socks! It has gotten so crazy that I just now highlight all goal changes. This worked, too, as now people tell me instead of letting me - or my clever minions - figure it out on their own.

The NOT actually means from one spreadsheet to another (due, in part, to the reasons given), and is a note to me, myself, and I.

Is it enough if just one us do the mini-challenges ?

P.S.Have you noticed how active I've become? it's because I am spending all my time on GR instead of working or reading !
